DBS & Denim Story Presents Its First Ever ‘Denim Drive’

Vanita Bhandari of DBS Business Centre and Mala Hemnani of Denim Story hosted a champagne High Tea on February 2nd, 2011, to launch a unique Denim Drive, in aid of ‘Save the Children India’, at DBS Business Centre, Prescott Road, Fort, Mumbai.

Save the Children India

Denim Story was thrilled to announce its first ever Denim for a Cause initiative! To make a difference, they asked guests and clients to bring in old denims and help the less fortunate at ‘Save the Children India’.

Denims galore at DBS

The DBS Galleria was transformed into a magical denim fairy tale depicting the evolution of denims from the 17th century to present day on one wall. The décor also had Hollywood celebrity images sporting denims available exclusively at Denim Story. The key Spring Summer 2011 Denim Story looks to watch out for were displayed ingeniously in large pastel frames.  Guests were served an elaborate spread of champagne and canapés over a long high tea whilst they participated in the Denim Drive.

DBS: Virtue of Giving

The concept was to come and donate old denims and be entitled to a fabulous discount on one’s next purchase of incredibly glamorous international jeans from the store, as well as to be the first in all of India to preview exciting new pieces of the Spring Summer 2011 collections from the global premium denim giants that Denim Story houses. The theme of the evening was to delight in the virtue of giving and Denim Story would reward the good karma with attractive discount!

DBS Business Centres was proud to support this wonderful cause and will continue to do so – Saving the Children of India…
